Los Angeles was a blast. The weather was sunny and warm. We enjoyed by doing a few day hikes in Runyon Canyon. We also went to the MCA and saw the Murakami exhibit, went to the Chinese New Year parade and ate at great restaurants. At the Griddle I even ate across from a celeb (Donald Faison from Scrubs and his girlfriend Cacee Cobb. We also had a Rihanna sighting. All in all, it was a nice beginning to my trip. Now I am off to Mexico and I cant wait to begin my journey through yoga.

Baja via LaLa Land

Welcome back! This is Becca on her own (though I wish Suzie was here). I am heading south of the border to learn how to instruct yoga, but I made a pit stop in LA to visit Mattito and do some celeb sightings. If I get any pics, Ill post them right away.

San Diego

The San Diego zoo was awesome. Lots of cool animals. Also Ed, Laura and I went to the Museum of Photographic Art in Balboa Park. It was super rad. We are finally leaving San Diego today (not cause I didnt love it, but beacuse Im getting chubby from all the eating and boozing. I love it though. Maybe We'll move out here till summer. Who knows...

San Francisco

We have very few photos of San Fran. But Susan and I did do what we love best...buy shoes. I got some super sweet sneakers and she got some rasta boots. We stayed with Clark, one of my dear friends I met in South Africa, who has a sweet apt. in Berkeley. We cooked too much food and drank 24 oz. PBR cans at a local sports bar where I finally got to watch a little football. Too bad the Pack is playing terribly.

So, after drinking wine all day long we decided to take a break in the evening...by punding PBRs. Susan's friend's Steve and Natty caught up with us. We also met some South Africans that wee pretty rowdy and almost got us kicked out of our campsite. Yikes! Anyways..it was a fun drunken eve.
PS. Some guy on the street was wearing this wig, and of course I now have it in the trunk of the Scapegoat (the Escape)

Napa winos

So, our first day in Cali is being spent in Napa California. Right now I am sitting in the local watering hole cuz they have free internet drinking PBR on tap (sweet!). We drank a lot of wine today (el vino did flow), and we worked it with some if the winery guys so we have a bunch of free tastings tomorrow. what can i say, we're good at what we do (boozin'). Anyways, its been tons of fun.. and cheers to wine!

bowling in moab

so, as some of you know, i had this great plan to find the best bowling alley in the country...unfortunately we are slackers and as of yet we have only gone once. It was lame, so until now, the sister bay bowl still takes the cake. If you look hard at the photo of me you can see my bowling name (if you dont know you better ask somenody..just kidding, it's Gena Sebasti). The last photo is in Napa at a Cantina. Look, dollars on the ceiling, just like home (a la Husby's)

Vail, Colorado

So, we're in Vail, and a bit hungover after 43 PBRs and 3 bottles of wine between 7 people. We are staying with Nick Steingart and having a great time, eating good food, and making good friends. In fact, since I have zero life plans, maybe Ill come back for the remainder of the winter. But we have a far way to go. We went to some awesome hot springs and got some cowgirl gear (which doesnt even fit in the car). Oh yeah, and we got some boys in their underwear. Sweet. Next stop: Moab, Utah. Hello Mormons.
